 Final year students in the training process

 As aspiring online communicators, students of the department of communication and development studies of the university of Bamenda, were drilled on the stages of blog creation.

  This in a practical session organized by the the course instructor Dr. Manzie Vincent on  December 3rd 2021 in a classroom on campus. The session that was facilitated by Ngong Song Jean Marie, saw students glued to their smartphones and laptops as they followed keenly to what was being thought.

The training that lasted for about two hours, was a success as many students left the hall as bloggers after creating their own blogs

 The 11th convocation ceremony of the university of Bamenda, that took place on the 16th of December 2021 was celebrated in front of the chancellery. The much anticipated occasion brought together people from within Bamenda and even out of the city. With this, one can only think of the variety of cultural atire that was displayed around the university campus. Sadly enough we had a handful of traditional atires and found more of cooperate wears, which depicts how people have become engrossed in the western culture of suits and prom gowns. Gender based violence and people living with disabilities

 Gender based violence is an umbrella term used for any harmful act perpetrated against some one's will and that is ascribed to socially ascribed norms between male and females. Gender based violence seems to be very rampant in our societies today as it takes varied shapes and colors, and sophisticated forms deep rooted in our society People living with disability have double vulnerability when it comes to Gender Based Violence. They suffer the effects of Gender based violence too just like Normal people.  According to Madam Sylvie a GBV advocate and activist, She says "In the case of rape a person with disability might not have the preference to run or fight back, probably because she is visually impaired, or crippled.
